Read the label as a schedule
Record the sealer name, surface, number of coats, application date, room temperature, humidity, ventilation, and planned water exposure. The manufacturer’s cure and return-to-service instructions should win over a generic internet timetable.
Keep the surface dry for the stated period, prevent cleaning chemicals from contacting it early, and do not use a touch test as a substitute for the product directions. If the grout was damp, dirty, effloresced, or not fully cured before sealing, the result may be poor even when the waiting period is followed.
Limits
No product was applied or tested. This guide does not give a universal number of hours, promise stain resistance, or replace the technical sheet for the exact sealer.
